thanks for these. writing down goals is something I dont do so it was a good reminder. i love this definition of success by john wooden: "Success is peace of mind attained only through self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do the best of which you’re capable."

I was never good at writing down my goals in the past, but I have come to see how it does work. It seems to get our brain working for us. Like it gets it's instruction & then it goes about achieving it. 😅 So, be cafeful what you write down.. pray first and then pray again after.

wow, that powerful eh. i remember from ben hur or 10 commandments i think, "let it be written, let it be done" ha. it was the pharaoh so must be 10 commandments. anyway, "pray, write goals, pray." sure beats "eat, pray, love."

Haha.. I didn't like that book "eat, pray, love". Many recommended I read it so I read it this year. It's awful. It's not for Christians, but it does reflect a lost souls life.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 is a good verse for this.."Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it..."

I don't know John Wooden, but I really like that quote. Thanks for sharing it, Stephen. I am usually reluctant to write posts on success as some Christians think I mean worldly success. Your quote here about doing our best and having peace of mind is exactly what I mean by success. God bless you for your insight & wisdom.
